Your accommodation is a well-furnished superior room in the three star superior Hotel-Guesthouse Fröhlich, at the heart of the Palatinate Forest. On arrival you will receive a bottle of sparkling sekt and a CD of classical music to create a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. There is time the first evening to pamper yourself in the health and fitness heaven that is the Monte Mare pool complex. An aromatherapy massage is included and a rose-scented bath in the Emperor's bath where you can forget about the rest of the world as you sip a glass of sekt by candlelight.
The next morning, after a champagne breakfast in your room you visit Kaiserslautern's garden show grounds and the Japanese Garden, a horticultural gem which encourages visitors to relax.
Next, we whisk you away in a horse-drawn carriage to the Palatinate Forest and you will have a romantic picnic.
The evening brings a Palatinate menu in the restaurant Spinnrädl - located in the oldest half-timbered house of the town.

The remainder of day three is yours to spend as you please. You could explore the town on a guided walk or visit Germany's second largest wine-growing region along the German Wine Route where quiet, picturesque villages invite you to while away the day.
